Regenerative farm intern (1-2 positions)
Internship period 01.05.-30.08.2025 (2 months minimum)
Salary 500€+alv 25,5% /month
We offer a unique learning opportunity on our regenerative small farm in Southern Finland. This season we are looking for an intern who will be working mainly in the no dig -market garden so if you’re studying horticulture, agriculture, are planning to change your career or have other experience and interest in working with plants, this might be the place for you!
We aim to involve you in all aspects of running the place, from the chores to the numbers. You can attend our courses for free and we intend for nothing less than to see you leave with all the know how and confidence needed to start your own farm.
Our farm is located around 50km from the centre of Helsinki. We are surrounded by beautiful forests and lakes. Besides you, the team consists of founders/owners Essi and Pieter-Jan and a salaried farm worker.

seeding and soilblocking
seedling and plant care
transplanting
harvesting and packing
weed and pest management
irrigation
greenhouse care
making natural foliar sprays from wild herbs to boost plant’s immune systems
A typical day starts with harvesting vegetables or pruning tomatoes in the greenhouse, lunch, transplanting new seedlings, emptying old beds and packing up the last batch of vegetables. Every day is different though and tasks vary constantly. We aim to give our interns as broad an experience as possible so you are well equipped to some day run your own regenerative vegetable operation.
Work days start around 9:00 and end around 15:00, approximately 6h/day, some days are longer, some days are shorter.
Requirements
Farming experience is not necessary; a genuine interest in regenerative agriculture is. You have a hands-on, proactive and flexible attitude and are hungry to learn.
Driving license (B) and your own car or other transportation method to the farm since there is no public transportation here in the summer.
English is our main working language
We offer
-500€+alv 25,5%/month (billed)
-daily lunch, prepared by all team members taking turns
-option to take home leftover vegetables when they are available
Timing
01 May - 30 August (2 months minimum)
5 days/week.
If interns can only stay for 2 months, we will take 2 interns to cover the whole 4 months.
